'The future belongs to those who give the next generation reason for hope' - Teilhard

Dear Reader

Be welcome,  stay a while and look around on my website, if you wish. My name is Leo Zonneveld and this site gives some details about my life and work. Based at the British Embassy in The Hague as erstwhile Science Attaché, I have been representing the UK science base, fostering academic and industrial collaboration between Britain and The Netherlands until July 2007. Before that, I worked at the Embassy as a Commercial Officer, responsible for the promotion of the UK High Tech industry in The Netherlands. I am retired now.

After having worked for Britain for 37 years, I put most of my energy in expanding an informal global network, that simply emerged over the years, with people deeply interested and involved in science and sociological concerns, and whose personal and professional lives have been greatly influenced by the great scientist and philosopher Pierre Teilhard de Chardin , catalyst of that mystifying flash of understanding in a young person's life, that is remembered for ever.

Over the years, an amazing web of Teilhard-envisioned, interrelated paradigm shifts has become visible, drifting across many disciplines and schools of learning.  If you have been involved in any of these, I would really be privileged to know you - please be in touch.

My website collates the various strands of thought and action that were brought to life and inspired me while working at them, both professionally and personally. I hope you will find somewhere between the lines some thoughts and ideas that may be interesting..

Greetings!

Leo W Zonneveld
